Do you ever feel that the world that you're living in gets too out of hand and that you need to escape somewhere, somewhere out of this world. Like, when reality strikes, you feel like you've been drown with a wave of darkness, meant to kill you on the inside. Your heart tears apart like a piece of scrap metal, slowly but surely.

But then again, all of this is unnecessary, because its the facts of life. But the more you try to push and reason out with yourself, the deeper the cut. You feel just like a person who's cliff diving. Free, but at the same time bounded, due to the gravity pulling you down. So its like, free but not so free after all.

ANYWAY.

Work today was fine and tiring (as usual). Was posted to Grad Hyatt Hotel today. Actually I managed to snap a few pics. And Guess what! My name tag today was classy okay! I'm no longer 'SUNNY' but now i'm 'RICHARD'. So I kinda got to be 'ang moh' for today.

Oh and it was pretty relaxed. I got to drink the orange juice (which is impossible at O.hotel) and the chocolate milkshake. =D made a couple of new friends too. Mostly 16 year olds either waiting for O or N level results, and not forgetting my mentor for the day, Soon Kiat, 22 year old dude.

Work is hard, really. That's my conclusion after working for the past 2 days. Okay, So basically I signed up for work with TCC, this hotel agency which posts me to different hotels in town to work. Its pretty much easy job, cause I'm a part-timer, so I started on Saturday, at Orchard Hotel from 6-11.30pm. At first, I was a freaking blur sotong. I didn't know what was expected of me, what to do, but I changed to my uniform anyway. It was nice, and they gave me a freaking crazy nametack. Since I was a part-timer, they gave me a random tag. So I was known as "SUNNY" for the day. =D haha.

It was fine (I guess) and I got a really good partner which I didn't catch his name cause we were all busy doing our own jobs. I was mainly the drinksman, so I simply served soft drinks and replaced the side plates and cleared the lady susan(the turntable). and I got a damn bloody nice captain by the name of Xavier. I think he's around 20plusplus. He's nice partly because he didn't scold me when I had a spillage.

So yes, on my first day at work, I was supposed to bring coke to this guest and at the same time collect the soft drinks from the counter. So being an idiot, I placed 6 glasses soft drinks (2 coke,2 sprite and 2 orange juice) on my darn small tray. So while I was trying to serve the glass of coke, the whole tray toppled and spilled on the guest's thighs and everywhere. okay, then blahblah. cut story short, I got a bit of scolding from Xavier, but most of it was encouragement and he went telling me about the same thing that happened to him on his first day at work. So it wasn't so depressing =D

But most of it was okay. Took offday on Monday and Tuesday. =D And for the past days of working, it made me realize a few things. I know working was hard, but I didn't expect it to be THAT hard. It only drives me to work harder in terms of academics in order to get a better job in the future, a job that I love.

Anyway, I made quite a handful of friends while working. There's this 23 year old dude who told me he was studying in a local poly since he's from china. And when he asked where I was from, I said "victoria" and he looked at me like I'm some sort of an alien. and he went "shouldn't boys from there be studying?" and I gave him the whatthehell look. "we're waiting for our Olevel results" and he went "ohhhhhhh". Must boys from Victoria always be associated with studying. Well, actually I'd rather be associated with studying than working, so lets not complain (:

OKAY!! Enough of that. I'm back from camp and it was awesome. Plus, Some freaky and weird stories to share since some man told us that our school was haunted. More of that later, when I've slept since We've been up for 2 nights, doing loads of incredible stuffs. Haha, okay maybe not THAT incredible, but I felt more bonded with the Black shirts and I guess its one of the best ways to release stress after Olevels. (:

Basically the past two days was full of Walking,Cycling,Night Cycling, Catching the Sun Rise, which was awesome, Sleeping by the beach after breakfast at macs, doing crazy stuffs, kayaking, eating and eating since we're known as OLD BOYS at the camp and there weren't much jobs for us to do, so we made our own 'JOBS'. Kayaking was crazy, but like i said, i'll blog fully once I sleep like a dog.

Maybe tonight. =D

And its pretty sad to see brotherhood/twinhood/sisterhood/manhood? or whatever Hood break into a million pieces, but I realized that if the other party doesn't even care about it then might as well forget about it totally. And I definitely won't "live life like we're dying" but more of Live life to the fullest.
